Nestled in the enchanting landscape of the Provence there rests, at an altitude of 475 m, the village of St. Cezaire. Haughty but humble at the same time, it overlooks the river Siagne. In the late 18th century the French recognized the importance of this river and built a canal. To this day it provides vast parts of the coastal region with clear water. This medieval town is full of mediterranean charme and has footpaths, riding schools and two tennis courts to offer. Worthwile as well would be a visit to the Caves of St. Cezaire. | |
