Saint Cezaire sur Siagne
Nestled in the enchanting landscape of the Provence there rests, at an altitude of 475 m, the village of St. Cezaire. Haughty but humble at the same time, it overlooks the river Siagne. In the late 18th century the French recognized the importance of this river and built a canal. To this day it provides vast parts of the coastal region with clear water. This medieval town is full of mediterranean charme and has footpaths, riding schools and two tennis courts to offer. Worthwile as well would be a visit to the Caves of St. Cezaire.
La Siagne
At a distance of only half an hour on foot from St. Cezaire there lies a little paradise. It is called "La Siagne". Embedded in a primeval ambience this small wildwater is bordered by rocky cliffs as well as green slopes. Adventurers, hikers and maybe dreamers might find here fulfilment, validation and even meditation. Even on hot summer days the cool, fresh air feels exciting and relaxing at the same time. What was that again, about the coast down south...?
